Physiotherapy
Body structures and functions are specifically improved under the guidance of experienced physiotherapists. Our aim is to alleviate or eliminate physical complaints so that you can enjoy your everyday life with as high a quality of life as possible. To achieve this, we use both passive treatment techniques and active therapies. We pay particular attention to improving balance, coordination, strength and endurance in order to effectively achieve individual goals.
Physiotherapy on equipment
Physiotherapy on equipment is a special form of physiotherapy that is specifically tailored to the needs of patients with functional limitations. Under the guidance of a qualified therapist, exercises are performed on Kieser strength equipment. The aim of the training is to effectively strengthen certain muscle groups, improve mobility and support rehabilitation after injuries or operations.
Manual Therapy
Manual therapy in physiotherapy comprises a variety of techniques in which the therapist uses their hands to release muscle tension, mobilise joints and improve mobility. These include mobilisations, manipulations, stretches and soft tissue techniques. The aim is to relieve pain, improve function and promote the body's natural healing process. Manual therapy can be used for various conditions such as back pain, joint pain, sports injuries and muscular dysfunction.
Craniomandibular dysfunction
Craniomandibular dysfunction refers to a disorder of the interaction between the temporomandibular joint, jaw muscles and teeth, which can lead to pain, limited mobility and other symptoms. Treatment can include a combination of physiotherapy, splint therapy to relieve pressure on the temporomandibular joint, behavioural changes such as stress reduction and relaxation techniques. The exact therapy depends on the individual's symptoms and the severity of the condition.
Thermotherapy (heat and cold therapy)
Thermotherapy is the application of heat and cold to treat various illnesses and injuries. Heat increases blood circulation, relaxes muscles and relieves pain from muscle tension, arthritis and cramps. Cold therapy reduces inflammation, swelling and relieves acute pain from sprains, bruises and sports injuries. Both methods can also be used for rehabilitation after surgery. It is important to use the right method depending on the type of injury or illness, individual needs and contraindications.
